One of the most compelling stories is from Simplot’s Brand Manager Frozen Potato Marnie Frid, who said winning the Packaged Grocery Category with its Bird’s Eye Deli Seasoned Chips & Wedges has delivered sales growth.
“Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips & Wedges have been a great innovation for the frozen potato category, delivering a more adult style flavoured offering for consumers to enjoy which has contributed to incremental category growth,” she said.
“Deli has been one of the most successful launches in the category for a number of years. The innovative product has also driven incremental volume as well as attracted new buyers into the category. Winning the award has been great PR for us both internally and externally,”
Ms Frid said they have leveraged the win in a number of media channels including in-store POS, Social and Print and a $1m TVC.
